DIET vs EXERCISE Episode 1: Fat Loss Diet versus Best Cardio Workout to Burn Belly Fat

CLICK HERE for a FREE WORKOUT: www.turbulencetraining.com First instalment of diet vs. exercise where Craig Ballantyne and Brad Pilon show you how ineffective cardio is and just how dramatic your calorie intake can be without you knowing it. The simple truth is; you can’t out-train a bad diet. Today, in this contest, Craig Ballantyne is going to run on the treadmill on an incline of .5 and a speed of 10.5 mph for 3 minutes, while Brad Pilon eats pizza and drinks soda pop. Brad is going to try to consume as many calories as he can in those 3 minutes, while Craig is going to see how many calories he can burn off in that same amount of time. In 3 minutes, Brad consumed approximately 1000 total calories, while Craig burned only 43 calories. Cardio loses against diet. This just goes to show you, in diet vs. exercise, you can never out train a bad diet. It doesn’t matter how good your program is, if this is your nutrition, you’re not going to lose fat. that guy is retarded.the way it works is if you have a 500 calorie deficit in your diet.

  2. bassplayer71 says:

Interesting that the “avoid long boring cardio” guy chose cardio to illustrate this point.

  3. visionimagify says:

Wtf? Under 500 calories? That’s borderline anorexic.

The fat furnace system is the best out there. check it out at xtremehealth . weebly . com

Diet is around a million times better and more efficient for muscle building, fat burn and weight loss in general than exercise if I remember correctly. You can be up to 500 pounds and have a bodyfat percentage of 89%, and if you consume under 500 calories a day whilst getting enough nutrition to survive, in about 3 years, you will be ripped with minimal exercise.Although consuming so little calories at random with a super-large stomach and a taste for sweets is impossible unless you’re psychotic

    this is hilarious

I eat whatever I want whenever I want six times a day, Pizza, Chicken, Tuna, Steak ect.
yet I pretty much always maintain my body weight no matter what~!

I weight train 3 ~ 4 times a week and run 4 times a week, if you calculated the calories I eat vs burnt I should be a fat ass, but like others have said your body will burn alot of calories just by being even slightly active. Also it helps that every time I eat I think protein first If possible I avoid meals that are overly carby.

@EVILTRIPS666 thats quite a discrepency -I’ll have to look it up. We burn hundreds of calories a day just being moderately busy – and not even working out. The point is that cardio activity increases the body’s metabolism and thus burns more calories more efficiently throughout the day.

  9. futuretroriginal says:

    haha. this is awesome.

  10. EVILTRIPS666 says:

they say you will only burn 12-15 calories for the rest of the day after a 400 cal workout… More for weight training, like 50 in total.

  11. shorty123qwe says:

its consuming 1400 calories a day

  12. losebellyfatquickly says:

Awesome video you have !!! Keep up the nice work: By the waY visit my videos okie !!!

  13. jonpaulevans says:

our body continues to burn fat for hours and hours after cardio – sure you burn 200 calories in a good cardio session but throughout the day you’ll continue to burn hundreds more and not feel the need to eat as much. The point they are showing is how important it is to eat right.

  14. mopar928 says:

you misunderstood what the video is trying to prove. your illogical and plain stupid.

  15. rootiest says:

what the fuck !!! speed of eating has nothing to do with the speed of your body burning fat !! you cannot compare it like that – that is just illogical and plain stupid.

  16. crabzdown says:

@Shenicab can you explain to me what a 1400 calorie diet is? please

  17. Plut089 says:

Bullshit .. I’ve gone from 80 kilos to 72 just using the crosstrainer at the gym. I didn’t have any diet or any shit like that.

  18. Shenicab says:

I needed to see this video today. I just put myself on a 1400 calorie diet, and I am taking my big butt to the gym right now!
